Damion is a New Orleans Native born on April 19, 1972 and one of the original members of the New Orleans Hustlers Brass Band.

He started playing instruments at age 14 with his first experience of brass band life beginning with the Mc Birth Brass Band in 1988. The following year he joined the Olympia Kids Brass Band. He eventually went on to join the world renowned Soul Rebels Brass Band as one of the original members in 1990.

After moving to Houston due to Hurricane Katrina, Damion help form the New Orleans Hustlers Brass Band back in 2005.

Damion is a father of 3 (with whom one of his sons (Devin) being in the band) and a devoted husband of 24+ years
